Shirley Karnowski wurde im April 1979 in Berlin geboren. Nach ihrer kaufmännischen Ausbildung arbeitete sie neun Jahre hauptberuflich beim Fußball-Bundesligisten Hertha BSC als Assistentin der Geschäftsführung. Seit 2011 arbeitet sie selbstständig in den Bereichen People & Portrait - dabei sind ihre bevorzugten Werkzeuge, Kameras von Nikon. „Der Mensch steht im Vordergrund. Das Gesicht. Der Moment des Klicks ist der spannende, denn nicht die Kamera, sondern allein das Auge macht das Bild.
